I bought the shoe for doing yard work and to wear as a casual shoe. I think it will serve both functions well. The slip on feature is much easier and quicker than lace up shoes. The thick sole should be warm in winter. It also has ample tread. The leather uppers should provide easy cleaning and look good for a long time to come.
