This is the second time I've bought this boot for work and I love it-- best work boot I've ever had. My organization buys us new work boots every 6 months and usually I'm needing a new pair by then. I'm on my feet most of the day, mostly outdoors in all weather, and I need a rugged boot. Before I found the Timberland Pro Titan, I assumed most boots that met all my basic requirements (tough, protected toes and waterproof) were pretty much the same. Of course, part of the problem was that there's not much selection for solid women's work boots and I was buying men's boots when I found ones that fit me as often as not. However, after failing to find this boot 6 months ago at my work's "boot supply truck" and getting a different pair, I realize that no other boot is good enough any more. So I stuck with my old Timberlands until I was due for new boots-- they were pretty much dead after 1 year, but they held on. And then I made sure to special-order the Timberland Pro-series the next chance that I got. I'm usually not picky, but I'd pay extra for these. Obviously, they're above average in durability. I also love that this boot is rugged, yet super-comfortable. For me, there's no breaking in required, I feel agile and energetic all day long because it's well-balanced, there's good rebound in the sole, the leather is supple, and the lightweight toe protection is great. I can tie them tight and I won't get blisters. I can attest that it stays waterproof throughout hard use, but somehow lets my feet breath, since the insides don't seem to get wet and stinky after a long day. I used to be frustrated that there weren't any female workboots as nice as the men's, but I have no complaints any more, I've found my perfect boot. I hope other women feel the same and they keep making it. In short, I highly recommend this product. :)

COMMENTS:
I work in a very rugged environment in and out of my office on my feet all day. Under constant threat of chemical spills,cold and wet conditions,dodging heavy equipment and falling metal girders,climbing cracking towers and industrial presses and they look and feel great. I even wear them during winter casual outings and weekend hiking.
