COMMENTS: This is my 2nd pair of Muck boots. I still own the original pair but wanted some for a colder climate. The boots become like a broken-in pair of shoes after just one use of about an hour or so. That's when they really begin to shine for me. My original pair is still waterproof after 5+ years so I expect the same from these. You can wear this pair outdoors all day assuming its not hot out or your feet will definitely sweat if moving about.
I've used these so far just hunting in WV on below freezing mornings and with a regular pair of hunting socks (not thick) my feet were fine. Yes, they started to get cold a little, but it did not keep me from enjoying my hunt or get down early from the stand.
One important aspect to me about these boots is that I can still wiggle my toes inside. It's not like they are in jail and cant move as in some boots, particularly pairs with 1000 gram of insulate or more.
BOTTOM LINE: recommended
