This Duofold original heavy weight, two-layer fabric features a blend of Merino wool and polyester for comfortable warmth in extremely cold weather during low activity. Lush heavyweight fabric has two non-bulky layers construction creates a thermal barrier against the cold. The cotton inner layer creates a great next-to-skin softness.
TAGLESSĀ® Tag-free design won't itch or scratch.
Inner layer keeps it simple: 100% pure cotton.
40% Merino wool for comfortable warmth in extremely cold weather. 50% Cotton and 10% Nylon.
Together, both layers trap body warmth to create a warm thermal.
Fly front and wicking waistband
Flat-lock seams won't chafe or dig.
Gentle elastic waist wicks moisture for added comfort.
As the first Two-Layer warm wear, Duofold Originals have a history of success going back to 1906. The Two-Layer construction combines cotton next to the skin and wool in the outer layer, to deliver comfort, quality and thermal insulation.

COMMENTS: Absolutely love these thermals. Some of the best, warmest, minimal shrinkage ones I've found. Recommend ordering the tall size just to get some extra length, otherwise, they can feel like they're creeping up your legs.

COMMENTS: I often work long hours outdoors in the winter and have really come to appreciate the warmth these thermals add with very little bulk. I can't say anything about extremely cold climates since I live in the southern U.S. (it does get down in the twenties and teens sometimes, but usually not for long), but for work in the 30-40 degree Fahrenheit range they are great.

COMMENTS: Positive comments applicable to size apply only to the first wearing of the garment prior to laundering. Shrinkage was quite significant.
Apparently, Duofold has changed the specifications on its two-layer fabric. This same garment, purchased approx. 3-4 years ago and
manufactured in a different foreign country, gave
no shrinkage problems at all on laundering.
