Best Combat Boot I've worn
COMMENTS: These boots are probably the best combat boots I've had. While issued boots do the job, you get what you pay for with these. They are all leather without the synthetic fabric of regular combat boots, and broke in within days. They are water-tight for any condition up to the top of your ankle. The outer sole is the best part. It is riveted together and the heel contains a steel shank. They look professional with the uniform, I get compliments all the time. BOTTOM LINE: recommended

Disappoited
COMMENTS: I put these boots into service at the beginning of the summer and about eight weeks later the sole of one boot broke all the way through to the leather upper and steel shank. Most walking was urban sidewalks and indoors. I usually wear Corcoran 1500s and get many miles of life from them. This was the first time I tried the 4500s. I bought a second pair thinking that maybe I just got a lemon the first time since other Corcoran products I have used over the years have been fine. Time will tell.
