I LOVE this boot! I do tree and brush removal year round and needed and a good boot with good traction and a good digging heel. And they look great with jeans. While they do everything I was looking for, they're very heavy and cause blisters on the backs of my ankles and hurt my feet. The break- in process seems to be taking forever. Or it could just be my discomfort. But, over all, they're awesome boots and I will continue to wear them.

Searched online for logger style boots for approx. 3 weeks. Came across the Carolina 922 loggers on superCasuals website. Price was comparable to other sites, maybe a few dollars more, but included free shipping. Checked on availability, SC had them in stock - was in dire need of new boots. Ordered on Friday, boots arrived following Wednesday. Quickest service to date of any online retailer. will order from SC again. Boots run true too size, pleased with the service/price/quick shipping. Can't go wrong!

COMMENTS:
I have a wide foot, especially at the widest point, and have to be very careful what I buy. The 12 4E was a perfect fit out of the box and is taking a shorter time to break in than the last fancy loafers I bought. Am delighted. Removed the insoles and replaced them with a NewBalance athletic arch insert as I do with all shoes.

I was seeking a tough work boot for all weather conditions. The leather is really soft, and I have experienced some blisters on my heals during the break-in process. Very good sole. I would buy these again.
