I have bought these boots many times from different suppliers. I replace them every year. The boots are expensive but your feet will appreciate it, and they are made in the USA not just assembled here. The boots hold up well I weld and do construction.

COMMENTS:
A well priced alternative to Red Wing shoes. I would give a slight nod to the Red Wings in terms of fit and pliability of the leather, though this is not to be considered a demerit to the Carolina Shoe. I would like a more durable outsole however(I overpronate when I walk, so a harder rubber compound would last longer). I am happy overall. Good for Narrow feet in B widths, and far better construction than Timberland and Wolverine shoes. 4 stars.

Bought Carolina's at the factory outlet in Morganton NC for years. ( no longer there ). Now are harder to find USA made boots. If we all did we would be better off.

I work in construction where I am on my feet 10-12 Hrs. a day. They work great walking on roofs. This is my 4th pair in 7 years and I will buy them agan. when needed.

COMMENTS:
These boots are worn daily by my husband and he loves them. This is the third pair I have ordered form him, the first with steel toes. He is retired but walks several times a day thru the woods on our 28 acres in comfort with these boots. He also cuts wood & splits it to heat our house in the winter. He is known for being hard on his footwear. The only problem I have with them is "HE" does not care for them properly. He does not oil the leather and from exposure to water does in time dry out, crack and detaches from the soles. This is NOT a problem with the boot, it is with the owner. I will continue to order these boots for him as needed. Thanks for the "American Made" product!!!
