I've worn carolina loggers for 25 years, at least. This is my second pair of this model. I always had the thinsulate ones but didn't realize how much better these are for warm conditions. I have another pair, but with the insualtion for outdoor work. For 100 bucks, (give or take) these are a great deal. I wore the old pair out flat. I used to get these resoled locally but for what that costs, it's just not worth it anymore. Just get new boots!

I use these boots for what they were intended: real tough tree work. However, I have gotten my friends, who do considerably less physical work than me, to buy these boots and all of them love these boots, even the tall guys. They are so simple and well constructed. Like I said, I use the hell out of these things, so yeah, I go through them about a pair a year, so being super affordable is a major plus. The first thing that will wear out is usually the sole at the seam nearest the ball of my foot. My friends' boots on the other hand have lasted them years each. Get these boots!
