COMMENTS:
I ride motorcycles for fun and walk for conditioning. My arches are weak, so I use custom insole supports making the removable insoles a necessity. I abuse these boots by standing on the pegs of motorcycles when riding off pavement on less improved to primitive roads. Using enduro boots would be better for these conditions, but these trail hikers allow me to dismount and walk trails without leg strain and blisters. I am on my third pair and am thinking of buying a standby pair. So long as Timberland comes through in manufacturing these boots, I plan to wear them for the rest of my retired life.
