I wear these boots daily for walking the dog & separate daily power walks. They are extremely comfortable. I have high arches so I added my orthopedic inserts & I could wear these boots all day. The tread is nice & thick for good grip while walking on uneven ground with my dog. They are not pretty to look at but when I'm walking I'm much more concerned with comfort & stability. Got a great deal on this website, $30 cheaper & free shipping! The only negative is I wish the boot came up a bit higher on my ankle, but I think that's because my previous boot was cut that way.

COMMENTS:
This is my second pair. The first pair are 2yrs old and still quite serviceable. They are comfortable right out of the box. I've worn them all day doing yard work, hiking in the woods, and they remain comfortable. I normally wear a narrow width, so I added a shoe liner to make up the difference and of course that adds to the comfort and protection from rocks, sticks etc. They do mark and crease easily though, and so I wanted a second pair to keep a little nicer looking. I hope Timberland will continue to manufacture these forever.
