COMMENTS:
So far I have used it while running up in the northeast in 20 degree weather. I have also used it just for walking around. It allows me to not have to wear a big thick jacket or sweater. Just the bottoms, jeans, the minus33 shirt, a regular shirt, and a sport coat works well with temps in the 20's and high wind.

My previous experiences with wool were unpleasant, at best. But these wool thermal bottoms (and the top, too) weren't itchy at all and I was warm even when they got wet.
