A few months ago I was in the US during a business trip - I'm originally from Brazil - and found a black Levi's 505 that was probably the best fit I've ever seen. Problem was: the size was 35x32, an extremely hard size to find. Even the San Francisco Levi's store didn't have. So, back in Brazil, I decided to shop online and found this here. As I had a friend in the US by the time, I purchased here and sent it to him. The pants look great, but they were *a little* bigger than the ones I had. The fabric difference is probably enough for the size difference, but still, they're different - especially because they seem bigger in the width in the thighs and the hem is definitely bigger as well. I can still wear them, they're good enough... just not perfect. Plus, in some areas, such as around the knees, I noticed the fabric looks like it's a bit worn out. Can't really explain it as English is my second language, but that's the best I can do. I guess I can say that, being a particularly picky person when it comes to pants (and how comfortable they are and how well they fit), "good enough" is the best I can say for how it fits, so they still fit a lot better than most of the pants I try in stores. I'd still shop for 505s if I found the exact same model as my black ones.

Why is the genuine seal missing from the inside left front pocket on these 505s I purchased from super casuals? The pair I bought from a Levis store has the seal with the wagon and the logo "quality never goes out of style". The quality and size seems fine, I just hope they are genuine, I hate to buy phony merchandise.

My husband is a handyman. Other brands are too thin and tear. Levis are still making their pants out of quality fabric. They hold up for a couple of years. Although I have to admit, my husband is very hard on his clothes o they would last even longer! I can't think of anything "not so great" about this product.
