COMMENTS: I am from interior Alaska and have found these gloves to be excellent for extreme cold weather working and playing conditions. I use these for woodcutting, hunting, snowmachining, cross country skiing, walking and running in temperatures ranging from 30 degrees above zero to 50 below zero for six months throughout the year. The knit cuff provides additional warmth and keeps the snow and wind out. They are not bulky at all. I buy one pair each year and rotate. My "nice" pair that I use for "good" become my work gloves the following year. Since finding this particular glove, I have not used any other brand or style for the last seven years. I do not imagine I will find a better product and have not ever thought about looking since purchasing these!
These gloves are not good for warm winter conditions where you are working/playing in wet snow as the gloves will get wet.
BOTTOM LINE: recommended
