COMMENTS:
I use to purchase White's Boots (White's is a excellent boot also) when I was actually fighting fire. But, now as a Overhead Resource Specialist on fires I use this the Carolina 336 4x4. No break-in required as there was with White's. Extremely comfortable and durable! I go through a set every two seasons! After a 16-18 hour shift my feet still feel good with the boots on. It is the only boot I'll wear on the fire line now!

COMMENTS:
Although this shoe would make an excellent outdoor hiking boot due to it's durable upper and super traction sole, I use it for an indoor job where I'm on my feet 8 - 10 hours a day. This is my second pair of the Carolina's. The comfort is where it's at for me. I strongly recommend it if you're in need of a comfortable shoe, well worth the price.
