COMMENTS: After searching for about two years I finally found what I was looking for in this jacket. I like its simple style, use of materials, the fact that it has pieces of Velcro along the zip closure, along with the heavy duty zipper, so you don't always need to use the zipper. I also like the fact that it's very warm and that it's also very water resistant. In fact, the day I got it it rained very hard but I was nice and dry. I restore vintage travel trailers, my shop is in the S.F. East Bay Area near the water and almost all year long, but especially during the winter and summer months, ironically... ("The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." - Mark Twain)....we get the icy wind that blows underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and this jacket really fills the bill for that kind of weather. It is a little heavy and stiff...which, I hope will work itself out after more use....but that's the only negative thing I can say about it. Oh, and if you plan on wearing layered stuff underneath it, especially a hooded sweatshirt or something similar, get it in one size larger. -Scott Lockwood - Birchwood Beauties Vintage Trailer Coach Co.
